Philadelphia Spiders

There are approximately 1,600 alumni in the Philadelphia area. With events ranging from networking receptions to Spider game watch parties, the Philadelphia Spiders group provides a fun way to stay connected with fellow alumni in your home city.

Recent events have included a reception in the Lincoln Memorial Room at The Union League of Philadelphia to hear from Uliana Gabara, dean of international education, a pre-game brunch prior to the UR versus Villanova football game, a reception at the City Tap House to welcome the Class of 2010 to the alumni network and to Philadelphia, a Spider networking social at the Plaza Cafe at the Comcast Center, a Spiders in finance event, and a visit from University President Edward Ayers and Latrell Scott, head football coach.
