Regional Leaders

Dedicated and energetic regional leaders serve as connectors, hosts, and ambassadors in regions that have a significant concentration of Spider alumni. The primary role of a regional leader is to help plan, host, and promote events that foster local alumni connections to their alma mater and one another.

Regional Contacts

Friendly and hospitable regional contacts agree to be available as a resource for local and new alumni in their regions. Information for regional contacts will be listed on the alumni website in order for fellow alumni to connect with them as desired.

Spider Supporter

Spirited Spider supporters are a group of volunteers committed to offering their time on an as-needed basis. This is a low time commitment role in which volunteers are on a contact list and asked to promote various University of Richmond initiatives and be open to lending a hand with regional events should a need arise. The primary responsibility is an annual commitment to write a letter to current students reflecting on your experiences as a Spider and introducing them to the alumni network.

Virtual Volunteers
Share your professional expertise, knowledge, and insights with fellow alumni as a virtual speaker. Virtual volunteers work with Alumni Relations to host a virtual event via Zoom to the at-large alumni community. There is also the opportunity to pre-record content to share with fellow Spiders!
