Tuesday, June 22 (10am) | Emerging Leader Workshop with the Frontier Project

This 2-hour interactive, virtual workshop will cover the importance of self-leadership and its role in leading others. You’ll learn how to generate self-awareness with tools, discussion, and reflection. We’ll discuss ways to unleash potential on a team and characteristics of high performing teams and how to nurture them.

The Frontier Project is a management consultancy with a mission to help organizations and individuals do work they believe in. Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, Frontier partners with businesses across the globe to design cultures with a purpose, inspire belief, galvanize leaders, and compel employees to work and think differently.

Wednesday, June 23 (12pm) | Spotlight on Wellbeing: Lessons from Esteemed Alumnus, Jay Carpenter, R'92

30 years after graduating from UR, Brad and Jon are on a collision path with wellbeing, sharing stories and science for fellow alums on how to create the EXPERIENCE of wellbeing in their own lives. In this session, they invite their longtime friend and fellow Spider, Jay Carpenter, to the party to share his experience of wellbeing, with a special emphasis on ‘community’, one of Gallup’s five pillars of wellbeing. If you know Jay, trust us…you’ll be inspired, and if you don’t, join us and enjoy a fun and lively, yet also deeply meaningful discussion on crafting a truly inspirational life.

Wednesday, June 23 (1pm) | Mid-Week Meditation with Roger Mancastroppa

Take a mid-week pause as UR staff member Roger Mancastroppa offers a 30-minute instruction in mindfulness and meditation.

Each week Roger will be teaching basic KORU mindfulness skills that build on each other, making the session perfect for those new to mindfulness and those looking to grow their practice alike!

Thursday, June 24 (12pm) | Yoga with University Recreation instructor Ann Marie

Join us for yoga taught by University Recreation instructor Ann Marie! We recommend using a mat or towel during the session.

Tuesday, June 29 (8pm) | Young Grad Virtual Trivia Night

Calling all grads from the classes of 2012-2021! Join us for virtual trivia.... with a twist. Grab a team of friends and register ASAP, as each team member will receive a surprise box in the mail prior to trivia night which will tie into some of the questions... Register by June 23 to guarantee delivery of your package within the US!
