  • Student Alumni Association

    Mission and Vision:

The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is a membership-based student organization charged with fostering Spider Pride amongst the student body and providing opportunities to educate students about the Spider alumni network and the 6 points of alumni engagement.

The association is a way for undergraduate students to enhance their experience while at Richmond by instilling a commitment to lifelong engagement with the University.

    Student Profile and Responsibilities:

SAA members are highly motivated students spanning all-four class years who wish to pursue an experience to deepen their understanding of, and appreciation for, a lifelong connection with the University of Richmond. Members have the opportunity to develop and host events, build relationships with alumni, maintain the history and traditions of UR, and spread the word about Spider Pride to their peers – with a focus on the 6 points of engagement as defined by Advancement.

The 6 points of engagement are: Give, Volunteer, Recruit, Hire, Attend, and Share. These 6 points serve as tenants for educating the members who will then in turn be responsible for educating their peers.
