Mark your calendars and book your accommodations for October 17–19 as we get ready to celebrate Homecoming. Kick things off Friday night with our signature Party Under the Lights, then come out Saturday to cheer on Spider Football as they face off against Holy Cross at Robins Stadium.

Friday, October 17
Admission Information Session & Tour 1
10 a.m. - 12 p.m. | Queally Center for Admission
While the information session and tour are geared towards prospective students and their families, alumni interested in learning more about today’s Richmond experience are encouraged to register. Following the information session, an Admission ambassador will guide the group across UR’s beautiful campus.Spider Day Lunch @ D-Hall & Spider Day Party
11 a.m. - 2 p.m. | Heilman Dining Center
Cost: $10 per person rate for Alumni & Families at the door
Stop by the award-winning Heilman Dining Center from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. for a pasta station, burger bar, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, and many Spider-inspired desserts including Jersey Dirt; Homecoming 2025 giveaways (while supplies last)! The Joel & Lila Harnett Museum of Art exhibitions include - Cauleen Smith: Dusk of Dawn, Bethany Collins: Dixie of our Union, & Museums+. Classes participating in the Fall 2025 Museums+ exhibition include: Gender, Sexuality, and the Body with Professor Bailey Troia (Sociology); Civil War and Memory with Professor Jim Broomall (History); Making America’s Wars with Professor Corey Payne (Sociology); and The Bible as Literature with Professor Rhiannon Graybill (Religious Studies).Sustainable Spiders Homecoming Hangout

Party Under the Lights
5:30 - 8:30 p.m. | Jepson Alumni Center
Cost: $5 per person
Kick off Homecoming Weekend in style at the ultimate Friday night celebration — Party Under the Lights! Join fellow alumni and friends in the Jepson Alumni Center courtyard from 5:30–8:30 p.m. for an evening full of fun, music, and Spider spirit. For just $5, you’ll enjoy live music that’ll keep you dancing, delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar with $5 drinks all night long. It’s the best Happy Hour in town—and the perfect way to toast to Homecoming! Whether you’re reconnecting with old classmates or making new friends, this is one unforgettable evening you won’t want to miss. The UR Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Dinner will be on Friday, October 17. Inductees will also be introduced during the Homecoming football game on Saturday, October 18. The 2025 Hall of Fame class consists of Lesia Bilak-Schinnerer, ’98 (women’s tennis), Brent Holsten, ’94 (men’s swimming), Bridget Merrick, ’98 (women’s tennis), Lawson "Buzz" Montsinger, R’69, Mark Wesselink (women’s tennis coach), and the 2004-05 women’s basketball team as the Team of Distinction. Young Grad Homecoming Brunch

Cost: $10 per person (includes 1 drink ticket)
Close out an unforgettable Homecoming Weekend with one last toast to Spider spirit! Graduates from the Classes of 2016–2025 and their guests are invited to join fellow young alumni for brunch in the Richmond Room at D-Hall — because nothing says reunion like brunch with your favorite people. Your $10 ticket includes a classic D-Hall brunch (yes, it still hits) and one drink ticket. A Mimosa and Bloody Mary cash bar will be available.
