Recent Graduate Regional Councils
A Recent Graduate Regional Council (RGRC) is a group of alumni volunteers made up of graduates of the last five years, who serve as a network of institutional ambassadors in our most populated regions for recent University of Richmond graduates. Currently, Councils are active in Richmond, Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City. Councils advise the efforts of the Office of Alumni Relations in regards to recent graduate programming and initiatives, help develop personal, social, and professional networks, keep recent grads in the region connected with the University of Richmond, and spread Spider Pride.
Recent Graduate Regional Council members are passionate University of Richmond ambassadors who encourage other young alumni to actively engage with and support UR. They are seen as UR’s emerging recent alumni leaders with their support of the UR Alumni Association (URAA) as well as the larger university community. RGRC members are also often found in other UR regional and reunion leadership roles.
