Signature Young Grad Events
The transition from student to alumnus is just the beginning of your lifelong connection to the University of Richmond! Our Signature Young Grad events are designed to help you build community, celebrate Richmond traditions, and create new memories with fellow Spiders during your first years after graduation. Whether you're settling into a new city in the fall or reliving the spirit of springtime on campus, these annual programs offer meaningful opportunities to stay connected to the University, one another, and celebrate #SpiderPride! Join us each fall and spring!
Welcome to the City
Each fall, Welcome to the City celebrates the University of Richmond's newest graduates as you begin alumni life. These gatherings invite recent graduates to connect with fellow young grads (Class of 2017-2026), expand their local Spider network, and discover the Richmond community waiting for them in their new home. Whether you're settling into your first job or simply looking to meet fellow Spiders nearby, Welcome to the City is your invitation to start this next chapter together!

Spider Spring Socials: April-May 2027
Spring at Richmond was more than just a season. It's long afternoons studying at Boatwright Memorial Library, midweek traditions like Cellar Wednesdays, the excitement of Ring Dance, and iconic gatherings like Pig Roast. It's a season defined by connection, celebration, and making memories with friends before another academic year comes to a close.
Spider Spring Socials bring that spirit to alumni communities across the country. Hosted at unique venues each spring, these gatherings invite young alumni to reconnect, celebrate the season, and enjoy an evening inspired by the energy and traditions that made spring at Richmond so memorable.
Join fellow Spiders to reconnect with friends, meet new alumni in your city, and celebrate the season together.
