Mary Alice joined the University of Richmond in 2014 and currently serves as the Director of Signature Events and Internal Communications. In this role, she leads the planning and execution of the University’s signature events while collaborating with campus partners to create meaningful opportunities for alumni to connect with Richmond. She also supports the Alumni Engagement team’s internal communications strategy and works to strengthen engagement across the Spider community. Prior to her current role, Mary Alice served in a variety of roles within Alumni Engagement at Richmond, supporting programs and initiatives that foster lifelong connections between alumni and the University.
Mary Alice received a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama. She has worked in higher education for over a decade, beginning her career at The University of Alabama in 2012 in student development roles before joining the University of Richmond in 2014.
